Abstract

|
|
Spontaneous intracranial hypotension is a rare syndrome of spontaneously occuring postural headache with low CSF pressure. According to previous several reports, this syndrome usually presented self-limited course, so that conservative treatmens
were
usually recommentded. We experienced an unexpected clinical course in a spontaneous intracranial hypotension case with downward displacement of brain and CSF lea-kage. Therefore, though spontaneous intracranial hypotension usually resolves
spo-ntaneously, we recommed careful lumbar puncture and aggressive management in the case of downward dis-placement of brain on MRI and CSF leakage on radionu-clide cister-nography.
